Japan Dog Export is located in rural Minamiboso city, Chiba prefecture, Japan. We specialize in helping pets enter and exit Japan. If you need help with understanding import/export regulations for your pet, or are trying to work out the logistics of transportation, we will do our best to help you.

JDE Updated!

Since the birth of the Japan Dog Export website in 2012, our site's purpose and design had remained unchanged. However, we've recently refocused our direction on helping solely with pet import/export. This means we no longer accept requests to look for dogs available for sale in Japan. In light of this change, a website revamp was in order.  Thank you to everyone who we have worked with in the past. We hope to continue to be of use to as many pet owners as possible, taking the stress out of moving across borders with your companions.

COVID19 Affecting Import/Export

We continue to receive many inquiries about importing/exporting dogs to/from Japan. I just wanted to update everyone on the current situation, and how COVID19 is affecting the export/import of dogs. All cargo shipping of dogs internationally has been shut down till at least the end of May. We have not yet received a timetable for when this will open up again. Japan was under a national state of emergency which was just lifted recently. Japan’s borders are currently closed to nationals of most countries.
